THANK GOD IT'S OVER!! (THE ROYAL PARADE OF CRAZY HATS)

So okay, tapos na ang Royal Wedding. Can we go on with life now? Please.. 

I was out early from work, by the time I arrived home, turned on the TV hoping to see what good to watch. For a few seconds, the totally forgot about the Royal Wedding, and God! They are all over the goddamn TV! Every channel I switched to, it's their faces I see. This is hopeless, might as well suck it in. (at least I'll have something to rant about, like now).  I really did't paid much attention to the whole wedding, but what caught my attention it the parade of the most eccentric head dresses. My aunt told me it's "traditional" to the Brits, but ODK! do they have to be that Lady Gaga-ish??

Well, I didn't finish the whole wedding and the latter part of it 'cause I have a movie to catch (THOR), and I did miss the kiss thing, so I guess I'll just have to keep on looking at it here.

Ang di ko lang maintindihan is how this whole thing got into the hearts of Pinoys, I mean why do have to care? Really? Di naman kita under sg British colony. I don't what benefit it would give us. I guess were just suckers for this, bandwagoners.

So as what I am saying earlier, the whole thing is over.. so could you please bring back the regular programming on my TV.

HEAT VS CELTICS: RIVALRY BORN

It all boils down to this. The most anticipated match-up of the 2011 NBA season, even surpassing the Finals. It may have come too early, but we'll take it.  And that not even adding the numerous subplots behind this series. Will LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have their revenge on the Celtics in the Playoffs? How about Shaq (if ever he can play) playoff return in Miami. I wouldn't even mention the Delonte West controversies.  Ever since James and Bosh came down to South Beach, they know they have to go through Boston to achieve their "...not five, not six, not seven championships."

This semifinals series features more than half of the Eastern Conference All-Stars. I expect a Finals atmosphere with all the hate each team is getting (remember James' return to Cleveland).  Both of these teams preaches defense, and rightfully so, that these two teams belong in the top five in defense in the league. Who has the better defense?  The Celtics are still big even if they traded away Kendrick Perkins.  Yet the Heat have a better defense in the perimeter with James and Wade.

 The Celtics has an upperhand when it comes to experience (even championship experience) add to that the chemistry of their stars playing a lot more longer together. The key for Boston is the play of their point guard, Rajon Rondo, as he is the one steering this old legs. He had a great series against the Knicks, and where Rondo goes, the Celtics go.  I expect one hell of a series; tough, physical, and close.

Will LeBron James gets his revenge on the Celtics in the Playoffs? This is his third series against Boston. How bout Dwyane Wade's team last season? Like Rondo, Chris Bosh has to step up in order to will this team to the promise land. At the start of the season, we all see Bosh the the whipping lad of the team, but as the season progress, Bosh has been the steady force down low for the Heat. He has to take advantage of the front court of the Celtics now that Perkins is in OKC and Shaq is still questionable. I think his match up against Garnett is the key.

Boston may have been old and tired, but last season showed that they are still deadly. Barely finishing the regular season healthy, they cruised through the Playoffs and went on to play the Finals, eventually losing in game 7.

This season, the Celtics won the series, 3-1, with the Celtics winning at an average of 5 points, while the Heat routed them in their last regular season game.  But all of that is history. This is a whole new ballgame. This is the series that everyone is talking about. People are excited to see whose Big Three is better... Let's get it on!!

SEMANA SANTA SA AMON (SADTO)

Semana Santa na naman. Dumduman ko pa sadto sg lamharom pa ako, mga few days before sg Palm Sunday, naga libot na ako ni sa amon lugar para mag solicit.  During this time ang tawo sa lugar namon busy na because we are going to convert the waiting shed sa bangga into one of the Stations of the Cross, the Ninth Station to be precise. Si tatay ni usually naga una sg buhi pa sya, then later it was Apa (tiyo).

Ipa gwa na namon ang mga gamit from last year nga pwede pa i'restore. There I could see mga tawo sa amon buliganay putting up the Kapiya. Pag na tapos na usually ang mga heavy part like ang pag construct kag electrical, ang mga babaye namon mabulos para i'decorar. The funny part is that, kanya kanya sila pa gwa ng ila pinaka manami nag tanum kag bulak para ipasundayag, trying to outdo the other houses' plants.

The only time that mga tawo sa amon just gather around in one place not just to get together but to observe the lent in prayers.

This is very different from here where I am now. Ang mga tawo diri ya daw wala lang paki'alam, and very busy to such thing. They are taking advantage of the long weekend partying rather than observe the solemnity of the season.

Even I have work on Good Friday.

THIS WILLIE-THING IS MAKING ME SICK

Ngaa kada paandar ko sg TV puro na lang kaso ni Willie ang sa balita. Wala ni ang mga tawo natak'an? For quite some time, I just don't want to say anything about this issue, but its getting sickening already by flooding the news with this shit.

Indi ko na pag isturyahan kung ano ang natabu sa episode sg Willing Willie sg March 12., kay bal'an ko tanan kamo bal`an na ini nga issue (for those who don't).  Sa akon lang okay lang man pag tripan ang bata for comedy's sake, it's all in a clean fun, and viewer-friendly.

I watched the video and I don't think the child is exploited or something. What I see it is that some people are over reacting with the issue and ignorant people jumped right into the bandwagon. Okay, ang gin'ubra ni Willie is just plain wrong, But I dont' put the blame solely on the guy. Bal'an ta na tana kung anu ugali ni Willie. He just blurted out things or doing such acts without even thinking. I think that's how he is. I think people already knew that. I think, basulon ta pa gid ang tatay ni Jan-Jan nga nagtudlo sa bata sg amu sadto nga saot, siguro parti na ang director sg show nga tani may ara control sg mga footage sg show or at least told Willie what he is doing is not right, and most of all sa tumalan'aw nga mga hangag kag nag utoy utoy man sila ka kadlaw sg gina ubra sg bata.

As of now, what I found funny is that, ang mga papapel ta nga mga politiko naki sawsaw man sa isyu. A few days ago, isa ka congressman ang nabati'an ko mapasaka kaso kontra kay Willie. I mean, wala na gid sila ya makita ubrahon nga mas mapuslan sg tawo kung di ang makisawsaw sa gamay nga isyu, padaku'on para lang mabatian kag makilala ang imo ngalan sa bilog nga pungsod? I know, the CHR and MTRCB is doing investigations of this case, but congress? just stay out of this. Kung matapos kag mahusgaran ang kaso, then they can do their job nga revise the child abuse law.
